Dialogue: Self-Massage Training Session

Trainer: Hi there! How are you feeling today?


Client: I’m good, but my shoulders are really tight. I think it’s because of (wegen) all the stress at work.

Trainer: I understand. Stress can definitely cause tension. Let’s start according to (gemäß) your muscle needs. First, sit comfortably and prepare your posture ahead of (vor) starting the massage.

Client: Okay, I’m ready. What’s next?

Trainer: Stretch your arms along with (zusammen mit) your shoulders. This will help loosen up the muscles.

Client: Got it. Should I focus on any specific areas?

Trainer: Yes, massage can be very effective for most injuries apart from (abgesehen von) burn injuries. So, avoid any sensitive or injured areas.

Client: That makes sense. What about the tension in my neck?

Trainer: Tension relief is essential because of (wegen) daily stress. Start by applying gentle pressure by means of (mittels) your fingertips.
